- Does my pump have a warranty?
Yes, all pumps come with a three-year manufacturer warranty.
- Why does my pump not turn on when I manually turn the timer to the ON mode?Check to make sure it is plugged in and verify the outlet has power. If the outlet has no power a GFCI outlet or breaker in the electrical panel may have tripped. Be aware a GFCI outlet can be located in a variety of locations, for example bathroom, kitchen or garage.
If the pump still will not turn on when set the ON mode, once power has been confirmed unplug the power cord and contact us.
- Why is my pump not turning on at the scheduled day and time?Review the timer instructions located on the inside door of the control box. If the timer screen is blank then check to see if it is receiving power. Check to make sure it is plugged in and verify the outlet has power.

If the date and time displayed on the timer are correct then it may be a component issue, contact customer service. - Why is my timer display screen blank?Check to make sure the power cord is plugged in and verify the outlet has power. If the outlet has no power a GFCI outlet or breaker in the electrical panel may have tripped. Be aware a GFCI outlet can be located in a variety of locations, for example bathroom, kitchen or garage. Once power has been confirmed, review the timer instructions located on the inside door of the control box.
- Do I need to do any maintenance on the product?Yes, we recommend testing the pump every six months to ensure proper functionality.
This is a two-step test. The first step is to test the timer by opening the control box and pressing the manual button once so the timer displays the ON mode. The pump should run for two minutes and turn off. Press the Manual button three times to have the AUTO mode displayed (without the lightbulb symbol). The second step is to test the Steady Stream water level sensor. Hold the Steady Stream water level sensor housing with one hand while pulling the sensor up and out of the housing. Tip the senor upside down and the motor will turn on. Flip the sensor upright and the motor should immediately turn off. Firmly push the sensor back into the housing. Make sure the Steady Stream water level sensor is level with or slightly above the air handler hole it is connected to.
- Will my A/C unit turn off or not work if I unplug the pump?No, unplugging the pumps power source does not have any effect on the A/C running or turning off.
- Why did my air handler drain pan overflow?The condensation line and/or drain pan may be clogged. This may be due to the pump not receiving power. Check to make sure it is plugged in and verify the outlet has power. If the outlet has no power a GFCI outlet or breaker in the electrical panel may have tripped. Be aware a GFCI outlet can be located in a variety of locations, for example bathroom, kitchen or garage.
- What should I do if the pump runs continuously?This may be due to a faulty component. Unplug the power cord and contact us.
- What happens if my pump runs longer than two minutes?Your pump should run for up to 2 minutes. If it runs longer than 2 minutes unplug it on contact customer service.
- Why did my pump run at a non scheduled time?The pump will turn on if there is a clog in the drain line or drain pan and the Steady Stream water level sensor is activated.
- If a clog occurs how long will the pump run for?The pump will run until the clog has been removed or for a duration of two minutes.
- How long does the pump run for?For preventative maintenance it is scheduled to run once a week for two minutes.
- Do I need my pump to run on a weekly schedule?Yes, these pumps are designed and tested to run once a week for two minutes. In order to ensure your pump functions correctly it must run once a week for 2 minutes.
- Can the power cord plug be removed in order to hardwire it to a power source?Yes, the power cord plug can be eliminated in order to hardwire the pump to a power source (for example the power feeding the air handler).
- How does the pump work if my condensation drain line has one or more cleanouts/vents?All cleanouts/vents located in the condensation drain line must be capped in order for the pump to work correctly. Use 3/4″ PVC end caps to ensure all cleanouts/vents within the A/C condensation drain line are capped. The condensation drain line must be a closed system between the air handler and where the drain line exits the home/building/structure.
